from the late 70's early 80's

Lyrics talk about smoking a joint, getting the girl alone in my room really thats all i remeber any help?

I immediately thought of "Celia" by Simon and Garfunkel or "In My Room" by The Beach Boys but the time period and lyrics are not a good match for either song.

Billy Thorpe has song called "In My Room" (1981) but I can't find the lyrics.
