The first song has an edgy, rock feel to it. The singers voice reminds me of Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. The lyrics go:

"I'll never, ever, ever, ever, ever fall in love again"


The second played during the scene Alex and Jenn were taking shots and making out. It's upbeat and alternative; has a Bloc Party/Arctic Monkeys/Hot Hot Heat-type feel to it. And I know bits and pieces of the lyrics:

"Live like a popstar..." "....Elevator, escalator"

There's a Burt Bacharach song called "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" that was originally recorded by the Carpenters and Dione Warwick in the 1970's. There are recent covers of that song by Mary Chapin Carpenter and Elvis Costello. This song's lyrics are a near perfect match for your request.
