i really want to find this song title and artist!!!!

I heard this song on my college radio station but I didn't get who the artist is nor the song title. One line from the song is "i want to go where all the people go." and there was also a part about a lie. that's all i remember. If anyone can help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

i have this song i used to listen to, but it doesn't come on the radio anymore... but the lyrics goes like this, btw it's an old song, here it goes, "Whee hoo, yee hoo, whee hoo, yee hoo....etc..." but it's the beginning of the song, and a women sings it. Plz help me find the title!!!
