Oldies (pop/rock) help, please

Who recorded "My love for you" (I think that's the title) back in late fifties-early sixties? The male lead sang, "My love is higher than a mission bell, deeper than a wishing well" etc. The background females sang, "Say that you love me. Say those pretty words that will make me give my love to you". A lot of strings were in the background music, too. Thanks.
