Help! My brain is drowning!

About 25 years ago there was a song I loved that had some of the following lyrics: "Walking, got some walking to do. Talking, got some talking to do. Me and the girl, we got a lot more talking to do."

I thought it was JJ Cale but I can't find the song. Anybody know this one? It is stuck in my head!
