    Smile early 70's song

I'm trying to find the exact title and lyrics to a song from the early 70's. It begins: "Where's the love that we knew, is it gone, or have we thrown it away?"

Is this what you're looking for??

    Song-1900 Yesterday
    by Liz Damon's Orient Express

    Lyrics:

Where's the love that we knew
Is it gone or have you thrown it away
While the joy that we shared
I feel sure is not here anymore

    Like smoke from a cigarette
    Dreams that you soon forget
    It's fading away
    And it's 1900 yesterday

I thought you felt the same
Tell me who, who's to blame
The broken heart you've given me
    All the hurt and misery
    Where did I go wrong

    Like smoke from a cigarette
    Dreams that you soon forget
    And night has no day
    And it's 1900 yesterday

Where's the love that we knew
Is it gone or have you thrown it away
While the joy that we shared
I feel sure is not here anymore

Log on to kill this message.
    Like smoke from a cigarette
    Dreams that you soon forget
    And night has no day
    And it's 1900 yesterday

    And it's 1900 yesterday
    And it's 1900 yesterday
Its nice to be important, but its more important to be nice
    Y Ddraig Goch ddyry gychwyn

Wow, I had forgotten how much I liked that song. It's a cover of the Betty Everett 1969 version of the same song (I like her version too). Betty is best known for her 1964 hit, "The Shoop Shoop Song [It's In His Kiss]" which was covered by Linda Lewis in 1975 and Cher in 1972. Betty Everett also recorded, "You're No Good" in 1963 which Linda Ronstadt turned into a #1 hit in 1975. Now we all know that I am a "closet" Betty Everett fan.
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
