There's a piece of a song running through my head- is there anyone who can find it?

Just a lonely noob just now registering so that I can have lyrics to send to my girlfriend.

These are pieces of a song I never learned the name of, it's being sung by a male singer in a sort of slow tune: the fragments I can remember for sure::
"Where are you" and "I cannot sleep tonight"- I think the second fragment makes up most of the chorus, it gets repeated a lot, and I think the band was, like, NIN, or Saosin, one those mostly boy-bands that 96.5 The Buzz is always playing- I've heard it on The Buzz a lot. And I'm pretty sure it's one those songs about a girl.
