"Give up on your lovin' son"
I'm dying here. I hear this song every few days on the radio and they never say who it is. It's a rock(ish) type song, but more like Guster type "rock" than Metallica or something like that.
The bits I can recall:
"I'll tell you for the last time
what I said for all these years
Give up on your lovin' son
give up on your tears"
(You'd think I could figure it out with that much of it, but no. No luck.)
