Going MAD!! What is this song??

Somebody PLEASE help me - its driving me insane! If any of you are old enough to remember the early 80's (round about 1984 I am sure) I was living in South Africa and there was a song I kept hearing - a few times on the radio and often at our local 'nightclub'. I never found out who the artist/band was or the title of the song. It was the same style as Shalimar and Shakatak and those of the like - I only remember 2 lines of the lyrics (ok yeah i know I'm not making this easy!) they went something like:

What'll I do if I wanna get through to you..
No matter how I try.. you always keep me waiting....

alternatively if anyone can point me to a website that you can just put song lyrics in and it will find the song and artist... I would be very grateful!

Its ok - I just found it - after a LOT of searching... it was by Phil Fearon and Galaxy - called What do I do.. from 1984!
