Default "Take off your clothe, let me see what it is that your hiding

    HI Everybody
I`m new on this board and ofcause I have a question to begin with and this is it,
Sometime in the 70`I heard a song with the lyrics"Take off your clothe, (and)let me see what it is that your hiding", it was a male voice singing the song, I don`t recall the song title and the name of the singer, but I`d really like to find the song again. Could somebody please help?(The song could also have been recorded in the 60`, I don`t actually know when it was recorded)

Me my self, I`m an HUGE Elvis Presley fan and if anyone have a question about any Elvis recording, I would be happy to help if I can.

    Thanks Wims

Is this the one you're looking for.... Judge Dread ... "Take Off Your Clothes"

*** Take Off Your Clothes ***

    Take off your clothes,
Let me see what it is that your hiding
    And don't look so shocked
You have nothing to fear from my eyes

    Chorus:
My daddy, is a priest you know
And I am, not a beast you now

I just, want to love (x2)

    Take off your clothes,
And stand naked as nature intended
    And I'll take off mine,
Just to show you that I'm in good faith

    Chorus
I just, want to look (x2)

    Well now you can see,
It isn't as bad as all that
    So lie on the bed,
And I'll talk of my unhappy childhood

My daddy, is the pope you know
And I just, want to grope you know
I just want to feel (x2)

    It will not hurt
I promise you that, cross my heart
The first time is always the best
You can ask anybody - ask your mother!

    Chorus
I just, want to feel (x2)

Well how can you say that
I brought you here just for one purpose
    There are thousands of girls
I could get, if I just wanted that - yes there are

    Chorus
I just, want to love (x2)

    Well how does it feel
Now that you are no longer a maiden
What do you mean? You want more?
And you want it right now? - oh my god

    Chorus
I just, want to sleep (x2)

"What? Again? It's been three times! Christ allmighty! What do you think I am, an engine? Oh no, but here we go again... Viva Espana.

I almost forgot then... Welcome aboard

Well, wow...that was quick, yes I really think this is the one that I`m looking for, the rest of the lyrics that you typed sounds familiar too, thanks a lot.
The artist is Judge Dread and the title of the song is "Take off your clothes" RIGHT?
Now I just have to find out how I get the song and from where, because I know it must be an old recording, and that it will not be easy to buy in stores today.

    Hi again Mumbles
I`ve just had a listen to Judge Dread`s version of the song " Take off your clothes" online, but I donīt think it is the version that I heard back in the 70`. The song is the same, no daubt about that, but I think there must be an earlier version by somebody else. I recall the song as a more romantic version than the (Reggae)version by Judge dread. Any idea who wrote the song or who might recorded it first??
Thanks a lot for your help

    HI Mumbles
I just want to thank you for your help. I`ve surched a little further, because as I said earlier, the Judge Dread version is not the original version that I heard way back. I found out that the song was written and recorded by Peter Sarstedt and now I`ve bought the song online. Still I don`t think it sounds quite like it did, but maybe they did a little remix on the music, so next step is to find out about that.
