Anybody recognise these lyrics?

I haven't heard the whole song but these lines were sung by a female sounding a lot like Annie Lennox. It is a slow tempo song.

I have trawled through her songs and can't find it.

I am from the UK and heard it here on TV so I guessed it was likely to be relatively well known, but I've googled the lyrics and tried everything I can and its just not coming up with an answer.

I am lucky enough that I was recording the TV show containing the clip so I have been able to replay it a few times to make sure the lyrics I wrote are correct but still no luck

Any more help would be welcomed
