"your turning on me" artist or song name needed!!! please.

hey, i have been trying to find this song for ages!!!
the lyrics are from a guy with a weird voice, i heard it on a radio station which plays from around 1980's onwards. (approximately).
the lyrics i have are as follows (they may not be exactly correct)
"your turning on me, you turning me,
you know that I can.....
yes i cry, i cry-ey-y."
"..." is where i dont kno at all what is there.
(the first line could be turning up the heat, for all i know, but it definetly has 'your turn....." in it)

anyway, i would really appreciate any help anyone could give me in this, it has been driving me insane!! lol.

so i just asked my sister and she reckons that the first line is actually "return of the man"....
hmmm...
