50s/60s Title and Artist? Help!

I've had a fragment of an old song floating around for days. Here's what I remember:
"Walking lonely, going only
Only going where I'm going alone
By myself, I'll wander slowly
I'll keep wandering until I find me a home
I feel so blue love, you know we're through love
That's the reason I'm traveling on"

If anyone recognizes this (and hasn't already committed suicide), could they please let me know what it is and who did it?

I did this song in Choir in high school in 1973. I cannot find any record of who or when, but I have a recording of my performance in the choir. I have been searching too. Think this might have been from a broadway play, but so far no luck.

This may be a bit of stretch but the folk group, The Weavers (1950's) had a couple of songs that might be candidates:
"I Never will Marry" and "Gotta Travel On". But I am having trouble locating lyrics and/or sample to verify.
