bond music...

Hi there!

I'm not looking for any certain song...but artists that compair. I really like music from bond (not James Bond but the four women who play classical music), and Vanessa Mae. Does anyone know of any other artists that have that same sound or something similar? Anything would be greatly appreciated.

Well there's brilliant latvian group called MELO-M.
They are three guys playing very different kind of music on cellos.

And then there were amazing violin players in Michael Flatley's "Feet of Flames". One of their songs was called "Duelling Violins".

Bond and Vanessa-Mae are both produced by a British dude named Mike Batt, so I would recommend looking him up on the Web. He recently did a group called The Planets as well.

Surprised no one has mentioned Yanni or John Tesh. They're still sort of the kings of that New Age/pseudo-classical sound.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions! I quite liked some of Apocalyptica and MELO-M...but I prefer sort of more classical with violins and/or pianos...not too rock.

Thank you Grendl2000 for telling me about Mike Batt. That will keep me busy for a while, but how could I forget John Tesh and Yanni! I love their music as well. That's more like the type of music I was looking for. I also found someone by the name of Ronan Hardiman. His music is pretty good too.
