Does a chicken have lips?

I am looking for the lyrics/title and artist who did a song, I think it was from the 50`s or early 60`s that had the lyrics: does a chicken have lips, does a rattlesnake have hips, can an elephant make a living blowing bubbles through his nose? anyone got a clue to this one????

The only thing I find is a song titled "Searching for the Truth" by Balance of Power. It lists those lines as the lyrics to the song. See the link.
