Question Have some lyrics, need song title

There is a Bob Crosby song he sang in an old movie, not too old as it was in color. Don't know anything about the movie, just that he sang a song with these lyrics. "If you want to go down to candy town through a jungle of sugar cane - turn right with me at the cinnamon tree down strawberry lane. Where the stop and go signs are vallentines"---"Where policeman's cars are chocolate bars". Those are the only words I know. My grandpa sung it to me when I was little and I would love to find the title of it or the movie it was in. Sorry, not much info.
And yes, I do mean Bob and not Bing :-)

    Smile Strawberry Lane

This thread looks quite old but if you're still there, I know this song. It's called Strawberry Lane. Sadly, I no longer have the sheet music but the lyrics are as follows:

If you want to go down to Candy Town through a jungle of suger cane
Turn right with me at the cinnamon tree down Strawberry Lane.
All the stop and go signs are valentines and the letters are very plain.
The cars all stop for the gingerbread cop down Strawberry Lane.

Just hop in my car, it's a big choc'late bar
And we'll be there in forty winks.
    It isn't very far

If we even see crowds of ice-cream clouds how the peppermint drop will rain.
So grab a cup and we'll gobble 'em up
    Down Strawberry Lane.

My children love this song. I sing it for them at bedtime.

I've done a bit of a search online and come up with some publishing details:

    Default Thank You

Thank You! I had given up but have thought about it from time to time. I guess it wasn't sung by Bing Crosby in the movie so that could be part of my problem finding it ;-). I will start researching again and maybe I can find the movie on EBay or somewhere. Thanks Again!!
