Need help with a song

It is a old song. I thought that it was The Cure but I am not having any luck. The beginning of the song goes:

"Sometimes when I shout its not whats intended, these words just come out with no thought to bear."

The chorous goes:
"I'm sorry but I was thinking of the right words to say, I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be, but if you wait awhile now....."

Anyone know? I know that I will feel stupid when someone tells me the answer but it is bothering me!!!!
