obscure song from the 60's or 70's

hi all. i have been looking for this song for over 10 years now and have had absolutely no luck so far. i know it's classic rock but i'm not sure if it's from the 60's or 70's and i don't have a clue who sings it. it is a man but i'm not sure if he's solo or if it's a group. fortunately i do have a chunk of lyrics to the song:

i like the way you say yeah

it seems like the name of the song would be "i like the way you say yeah" but i've searched under that title a million times and nothing. any help anyone could offer would be very much appreciated. thanks.

no one has any idea what this song might be? i'm not really surprised but i was still hoping.
