acoustic - never i've never heard it on the radio

I heard this song on a friends mix cd

It's a male singer sounds like maybe john mayer...

song is about him(singer) and a girlfriend in the supermarket and i think it says something about looking at the magazine rack..

If I remember correctly it is acoustic or possibly has some drums

It is pretty slow paced and I have never heard it on the radio?
