Default Need Help Identifying a Song

I heard this song on the radio yesterday but it didn't appear on their play list. I've been looking around the internet and someone said it was a Malcolm Mckinney song but I'm not able to find that either. I did find the lyrics but that's all I've got. It would be great to be able to find it as I want to download the radio version I heard. It was a guy singing live in an obviously small venue, applause breaks out at the end and I believe I hear strings too

    Sometimes in the morning
    I catch a falling dream
    disappearing scene
I think about a someone that I will never see again
and now it's only me again

    Sometimes in the morning
I think I hear a phrase echo through the haze
And it's just beyond my vision
Something that she said one night
Before we went to bed one night..............

    Any assistance would be appreciated.
    Thank you

I found it! Well, actually my business partner Mary found it. She became obsessec with figuring this out last night. Anyway, the version I heard on the radio was done live in Cambridge, Massachusetts by Jonathan Edwards. It is on his 1974 album "Lucky Day". I remember hearing this song in my late teens. Although a sad song, the song is in keeping with other artists I enjoy from this time..... Dan Fogelberg and the Eagles.

Here's the blurb about the album from Jonathan Edwards' website: "A collection of some of Jonathan's favorites, recorded live in Cambridge, Mass., with the group Orphan and several friends, including banjoist Bill Keith, originally released in 1974."
