I Need Help!! Going Crazy!

I am trying to figure out the name of a song I heard on the radio yesterday and I can't find it anywhere online...

It is an older rock song with the following lyrics...

"I would die for you I would try (or it could be cry) for you"..."know in my heart its for real"

there is also a part that goes "higher and higher"

I have done a search and Bon Jovi's I'd Die for You keeps coming up but this is not the right song.

If anyone has any ideas I would really appreciate it...it is driving me nuts that I can't figure it out and I really want to download the song.

Thanks so much Dan1978...I have been listening to Candlebox's "One" all day! I am very impressed you were able to figure it out especially since when I looked up the lyrics, I was pretty off on some of them
