A song from the 70's is driving me crazy. The only lyrics i can remember are " Mama burned the schoolhouse down". HELP!!!

I reckon it's Another Fool in Town by Lightnin' Hopkins

Lightnin is a great blues artist but this was more of an upbeat pop kind of song. I did check the song you listed. Thanks

not it either. This song was from the late 60's or early 70's (when i heard it). One of my favorites when I was but 3 or 4 years old. Played it on an old record player as a single. It wasnt a childrens song.
