my sanity is at stake :( unknown song stuck in my head..helppp..

ah help!

i'm going nuts, as anyone does, when they have a song stuck in their head and have no clue who it's by or what the title is and the only knowledge they have is a mere few lyrics.

the other day i was testing stereos at futurshop and this employee there popped a cd in and i heard this song and now it's embedded in my brain and i have no clue what it is.

it's a techno/dance/electronic type song, but it has a lot of guitar in it and it's rather poppy/punky sounding. lots of bass but i guess thats most techno music. almost as if modest mouse or someone like that had been put to dance music? i guess. thats the best way of describing it. it has male vocals and the first lyrics are (to the best of my memory) "you and me, we've come so far (or look how farr we've come?)" that's all i remember hearing.

it was a really catchy song and id love to find it
