    In the mid '80s, I heard this "strange" country tune by a female singer. Looking for artist, song title, and lyrics. Some lyrics are: Tennessee flat top box. . . and he did play. . .

    Help will be much appreciated.

    This song was originally made by his father Johnny Cash, if i remember right

    Most guitarist probably don’t even know who he is, but Mike Lewis is a real American Guitar Hero. Prior to revitalizing Gretsch, he revitalized Fender’s amp efforts, which had been badly foundering for years. In both cases, he made faltering brands rediscover a glorious heritage, and he didn’t do it by dumbing things down.
