Need help finding song.

Hey everyone.

I'm trying to find a song that I heard one time. I actually came in in the middle of the music video for it but the stupid tv station didn't wrap the video up with the artist name and song title.

I can't remember any lyrics.

All I can remember is the video was shot in that old "Ed Sullivan Show" style. Like in the fifties or sixties. During the video the band was walking single-file around the props on the stage. It was kind of a rock song, and if I can remember there's a mention of Louisiana or New Orleans or something. Can't remember too well. Any help is appreciated.

yeah they did. But this band I've never heard of before. And haven't heard of since. And I never saw the video again. It's really killing me trying to remember. The lead singer had a soulful yelling type of voice reminescent of "screaming jay hawking". And it was black and white of course. Damn I wish I could remember.

only artist I can think of who can kind of do the screaming thing like Jay is Otis Redding... how long ago did you see this video? And do you remember their race? And was it fast or slow?

It was quite recent. The whole band was white. It had a fairly slow to moderate pace. Nothing too fast.
