There is this old r and b song. I'm thinking it is by the dells, or harold melvin and the bluenotes. It has a haunting melody, with a lot of harmony and humming in the back ground. It is sort of slow and melodic. the lyrics talk about: 'im gonna try it one, more time...and be a friend.

I heard it on the radio today.

Can someone help me id this song? I want to put it on the ipod and listen to it.

Aiight I found it! DLed it even, to the ipod. The title is "Open up my heart" and it is by the dells.
