Hey, my wife was in a pageant back in 95 and there was a song they played at the pageant that she really liked. We have searched on all the lyric search engines but haven't been able to find the song. We have bits and pieces of the song on home video. However, the lyrics are hard to decipher. I think a large portion of the song is in another language or is Caribbean English which we can't quite understand.
Anyway, what I've been able to pull out of the song so far is (using "something" for the parts that I don't know):
Chorus line:
"Something something dance, something something something dance,
Something something lemme take a picture"
There is also a part during the rapping verses that go:
"Something Something Something Something Something Zambone I'm a Something African on the crazy microphone."
There is also another part during the rapping verses that go:
"so right about now let me take you for a ride,
to where it all started way back in time."
That's about it. If you can help us figure out what this song is we'd WAY appreciate it. I want to surprise my wife by finding the song and by downloading it without her knowing. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED!
Thanks so much!
