A google search did not find the correct song so I'm thinking I have some of the words wrong.

Alternative Rock Song (heard on www.kdge.com)

I believe it starts out with "No matter how hard I try" with a bit of a dance-techno-ish type sound but goes into more of a rock song.

Male voice, somewhat deep voice, somewhat detertermined, pissed off tone.

I believe the song was made in the last few years (maybe last few months) but I'm not sure since I haven't heard it many times.
