    First time poster here, looking for some help.

    Summer of 1998 (possibly 1999, but probably 98)
    Female vocalist
    Has trumpet melody
    Very mellow song
    Can't remember any lyrics

    Any ideas??

    Only song that comes to mind is TLC - "creep" But that was '94

    Thanks for your suggestion but I'm afraid that's not it. This song had Paula Cole type sound to it, but I've been through all the songs on iTunes and it apparently is not her. It was on the radio all summer long in 1998 in Portland Oregon.
