hi all,can anyone help me with a song i believe it comes under reggae??

the way you make me feel, its a feeling so real ah yeah
(chorus) baby since you came into my life and i know its true, cause it makes me feel right
is there something about me (nxt part unsure)
    i wanna know
my life depends on you and i'll never be untrue to you,the way you look at me
oh girl i feel so good ........ive had this song on tape and is worn out now so would be most grateful if anyone could help in telling me who it is ive tryed all sorts with no luck.

Reggae is one of the more obscure genres of music being that so much of it never hits the airways. Can you give some more info? What year? Male/Female ? Anywhere that you KNOW it was played? Was it chillin reggae (roots reggae) or was it fast like dancehall? Also, does the artist perform the song in easy to understand English or is it more like "yardie" Jamaican dialect?

hi thanks for showing an interest...i can only say it was def between 1988/1990,my tape is a constant recording from 100 kiss (this is what it says). d.js mentioned on tape are asher senator standing in for david roningan(sorry could be misspelled).the song starts of ahah yeah x 3 ,his voice is far from deep, with no jamaican accent he sounds more english but i could be sooo wrong? the tempo is slow but steady all the way through song, with that fantastic bass beat, and u can easy understand every word he sings.other artist at time of recordings on tape is gregory issac ninja man smiley culture

hmmm... Well I can only name a few artists who've been around that long and don't have the accent (or at least not a heavy accent). Among these are:

    Dennis Brown
    UB40
    Steel Pulse
    Black Uhuru
    Burning Spear
    Jimmy Cliff (some)

And then there's the reggae "singers" like Sanchez, Frankie Paul, Mikey Spice, Garnett Silk, and Wayne Wonder... Hope this helps a little

oh, and ofcourse Bob Marley, but I thought that would be too obvious
