I blame store muzak for my insanity
For about the past two years, I have had a song stuck in my mind. I heard it when I used to manage a CVS in CT. I have no idea what the song really says, the chorus or anything like that; since it was being piped in tiny little speakers, not exactly a surround sound experience.
It sounds like it was made in the early sixties, possibly a female trio,
the song seems to have more contemporary instruments, such as a clarinet, than modern instruments like electric guitars.
The following lyrics are all that's left in my mind over the last few years, and a bit sparse.
"So, you keep talking and...."
"People fighting in the street"
Then there's a moment where they draw out their voices, making an "awwwww" sound, which is then followed by all of them singing an unknown word in unison. The word sounds like it could be "Sound" or "Shall" or something of that nature.
I know I'm not really giving anyone anything to go by, so I'm not really expecting to find this out, but I figured it was worth a shot.
