Can anyone tell me the name & lyrics to this song?

It's an 80's song that played on MTV maybe twice & was featured in the movie "Sixteen Candles". When the geeks go to the party at Jake's house & Long Duk Dong opens the door it's playing in the background. The only lyrics I know are "hang up the phone, get off the line, I gotta talk to my baby..." I've tried looking those lyrics up & gotten nothing.
