Default need help identifying this song

i heard this on the radio today, but didn't catch the artists name, i have heart this song before in the past, but never bothered to find who sings it until now.
its a male singing, and has a jamaican accent the song type is reggae.
the only part i remember from the song goes like this:
This love of mine, she said she would never leave me, this love of mine.
Another part of the song goes like this:
But i cried, i cried cried cried.
    Or i think it was:
But i do, i do do do
Not sure which one it was.

i tried some searches but didn't find the right song.
Also those are probably not the right words to the lyrics however they sounded like that.

    thank you in advance

Now I remember. Those lyrics are from Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack. But this is NOT a reggae song. So you might have heard some sort of reggae remix/remake of the song. There are several artists I can think of off the top of my head who do reggae remakes of popular R&B songs, such as: Sanchez, Frankie Paul, Garnett Silk, and Wayne Wonder. Hope this helps
