So it sounded like Blackstreet, but what was the tempo? I mean how fast was it? Do you have any idea what era this is from? Pool halls usually have a juke box, so it could be from any random R&B CD. Was it for sure R&B? (like Blackstreet)? I remember that Blackstreet had that slightly synthesized sound in some of their songs...
"And the music shall set you free..."

    Default sounded like joy

you know the song was a slow song it sounded like that song joy that blackstreet came out with from back in the days, but i'm not sure if it was blackstreet i could be wrong but yeah it was a slow song and it had that joy sound and that Michael Jackson butterflies kinda feel to it.. i think the era could have been from a few years ago maybe, it sounded modern. and yeah im sure it was R&B just not sure if it was a group or a single person.. i can probably go on and on about how it sounds like. all i can remember is those words I'm in a daze Because of you, it could be possible that i got the words mixed up... because of you at the end of the chorus ended long with the because of yooooooooooooou!! like that you know?

Default Think I have it for you

I've been looking for (what I think is) the same song. Try "Nite and Day" by Al B. Sure - pretty "sure" that's what you're looking for.
