Unknown tune... (I suppose this is an easy one)

I've heard this tune in a TV show, and I know I've already heard that a lot of times before. Could someone please tell me what the title is ?

Hi Mandrake,
I know this song, and I guess everybody who hears it, knows this tune.
It was the melody of a very famous comedy series on german TV and I heard it many times before in the radio. Sometimes with a voice saying something like "high definition"; but I don´t know if this voice belongs to the original tune.

... I guess I was not much of help.... :-(

I checked it out on iTunes, and it's that song indeed. Thanks a lot to both of you for your help!

Edit: To be exact, it's a song composed by Quincy Jones called Soul Bossa Nova
Edit 2: I think the series Tahira mentionned is called Definition (but it's Canadian)
