Soundgarden - Black Hole Sun

I am almost sure that Soundgarden inspired themselves off something else to make "black hole sun". The tune sounds verry familiar, and I think I've heard an oldie that sounded like it (perhaps little sun or little son). Doe anyone know where this song originated from?
