PLEASE help!! Song lyrics NOWHERE!

I've looked everywhere on the web for the name, artists and lyrics of the song that goes something like:
"the two of us, we'll always be together, just the two of us...... we belong together like a cat and the cream, ...it's a dream... da da da da da dahhhh ...just the two of us, and we'll be always traveling on...."
It's NOT the one with the words "we can make it if we try, just the two of us, you and I".
Please, can anyone help? I'm starting to obsess - it's like the song never existed, but I KNOW it does!

I think i may have tracked down someone who knows this song, at the moment i'm waiting to hear back who the artist is, as soon as i know either way i'll post back here OK
