Default Song from a possible Motown female singer

I heard this song but I cant find it on Google. I believe the singer to be a black female Motown style singer. It sounds like it was out in the 60's or 70's. It wasn't a very long song.

The lyrics go, "Since you've been gone, all thats left is a bag of bones." I believe thats how that line goes. I'm trying to remember more but it is all becoming a bit of a blur.

Could it actually go like this:

Now that you're gone
All that's left is a band of gold

Try "Band of Gold" by Freda Payne.
