If it played on my local radio station it can't be that obscure, and I imagine it's fairly new as well.
I can't remember any lyrics -- ehhhh -- but here is a description:
*It's a male solo singer, young, and probably white. I didn't recognize his voice which makes me think he's brand new. I suppose it could be a band, but it seemed more like a solo artist song. He had a rock/alternative kind of voice. (The most similar kind of voice I can think up at the moment is the singer from the Plain White T's... something along those lines.)
*It's a mid-tempo song with a somewhat catchy melody, though the verses seem to be more catchy than the main chorus.
*It starts out with just the singer against some instrumentals and then a hip-hop sort of beat comes in. I think it would sound better without the beat, frankly.
*I would classify it as pop and certainly not hip-hop, though it had a bit of a hip-hop beat.
*The chorus/hook is a common phrase repeated over and over -- I remember thinking the lyrics were pretty basic and the chorus was a very simple phrase. Something like "I'm always lonely," or "I keep falling," or something fairly basic along those lines.
*The song is pretty brief. Shorter than most. It does a verse, then a chorus, then another verse and then the chorus, and then it keeps going with the chorus for a little while until it ends.
I've watched a lot of current music videos and I've looked at the music charts to see if I could find it, but no luck.
