Title and Artist Name with these Lyrics

I have heard this song several times in the last month on the piped in music service at work. I really like this quirky song but no one seems to know who sings it or the title of the song. It is sung in like a story type format and has sounds of maybe violins. Kind of orchestrated sounding. Some of the lyrics are "in the corner's of my mind" and "don't be concerned". It's a male artist and the song is from the 60's or 70's.
