There's a old song called "Traces" originally by Bobby Vinton (1962) which was a hit for The Classics IV in their 1969 cover. It was also covered by Gloria Estefan in 1994.
Faded photograph
Covered now with lines and creases
Tickets torn in half
Memories in bits and pieces
Traces of love long ago
That didn't work out right
Traces of love
Ribbons from her hair
Souvenirs of days together
The ring he used to wear
Pages from an old love letter
Traces of love long ago
That didn't work out right
Traces of love
With me tonight
I close my eyes and say a prayer
That in her heart
she'll find
A trace of love still there
Somewhere, ooooh, oh
Traces of hope in the night
that she'll come back and dry
These traces of tears
From my eyes
Whoooa, oooh, oh, oooh
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
Thanks for reply. I've heard all three - but I think it was a different singer and the music was faster. The voice of the singer also was higher...
The words in this song sounded like "...traces of love...".
But I'm not 100% sure...
Some other proposal???

Need more input...
Is the singer male or female?
Is the above song correct and we just need to find the right artist?

Maybe 'Flames of love' Pet shop boys. I doubt it, but the title seems similar
I do not think that "Pet Shop Boys" is author of the song "Flames of Love".

Hello Atmaster - the singer was male.
I'm not sure about the words of the "Traces".
But surely I hear "...traces of love...".
That's all what I remember...
