The video has a young woman singing the song in a rather plain looking studio. In the chorus she sings something about 'prefering rock and roll'. At the end of the video she wakes up on a sofa between two people, and is obviously at an R&B party. She shakes her head and says, 'Wow! That was wierd.'

I get the impression from what I saw of the video, that she is a closet rock and roll fan, but doesn't want to admit it to her R&B friends - hence her being at the party and dreaming of singing a rock and roll song.
