    Default you're so near

I just heard a song on the radio, but i can't find the title anywhere.
    Here is how it goes.
It starts with a bit of saxophone, the song itself is sung by a man, and its dance music, but with a bit smooth jazz touch when when the saxophone comes trough.
I can however remember some of the words. It goes like this

"i don't mind, you say no"
"love is gone, day by day"
"you're so far, you're so near"
    "just one kiss"

these are all just random sentences from the song..
The song consists of lots of short sentences, sometimes followed by a trumpet playing short sixteenths of notes going pada padapadapa..so thats 2 notes followed by 5 others..

Can anyone help me with the songs title and artist?

I did not find a good match for your lyrics. The closest I got was:

"Everything I Cannot See" by Charlotte Gainsbourg (female artist)

"Add It Up" by Violent Femmes
Them that can, do; them that can't... memorize Artist and Title
