Solved: need to find out what this song is

i need to find out the name and the singer of a song i heard but i only have a few versus from it, i tried googling it but nothing helped. the versus i know are

"you've got to use it, or lose it, or give it away"

and i think it also says something like

"you've got to mash it, and trash it" (something else comes after this)

thats all i got, know any songs with these lyrics?

Is it an older song?
Because one older song from 80's or 90's is hammering in my head, is it a guy with somewhat irritating voice? And is it a pop song?
