Solved: Help! 'every breath you breathe, i'll be there for you"

Hi all,


i have just come back off holiday to Mozambique where in a bar i heard a song ( amongst Daniel Beddingfield and James Blunt's new albums - so i am assuming the song is currrent, though neither of the above artists ) . . .

i was missing my old dear so when this soppy song came on it immediately connected, however for the life of me i can't find out what its title or who it is by ! please could you help ?

i jotted down some of the lyrics ( which i have stuck into nearly every search engine - but to no avail ) and these are below:
