Help with early 90s song

There was an early pop-R&B 90s song that went, "First it was Mary, quite contrary,
thought in her garden I could truly find a woman,
then came Suzy, oh such a floozy." The Chorus went, "Should've been you, with me baby.
Didn't need to love nobody else didn't need nobody else,,,,repeats"
Any help would be appreciated. I've looked for years. It's upbeat and not Run DMC or Teddy Pendergrass. It has a Return of the Mack feel to it. Thanks in advance.
