Need help with this song title

hey guys iv been obsessed with this song for a long time and have gone to great lengths trying to find the title but it never ends in success


the song is a bit like "hey there delilah" it just has acoustic guitar and what sounds like just 1 male singing

the chorus goes something like this

"so get back back , back to when we last spoke"

my friend said it could be an australian artist (but we both live here and have never herd it on radios or anything so it wouldent be popular)
