    "Darlin'" by Frankie Miller.

    Sung also by Tom Jones and Johnny Reid, if I remember right.

    The song is written by Oscar Stuart Blandamer of Q-Tips, Frankie Miller recorded it in 1978. Tom Jones released his version 3 years later.

    That's the one. The Ray Pfob arrangement is kind'a fun but not the right one. I'll try to dig up the others and have a listen.

    The one I was looking for was a very simple, straight forward version much like a back porch jam session. I'm sure it wasn't TJ.
