A few years ago, I dated this guy, and while the relationship didn't work out--the mixed tapes were awesome!

I loved this song which starts out:

I was out drinking with the dead guy
No he wasn't yet, but soon it would be true
The night I met my future wife
outside in the parking lot
Hanging out in nothing but our shoes.

I know nothing about the artist, but it was a great, quirky-folksy tune.
