Just returned from Manila in The Philippines where I have found a radio station that plays truly delightful smoothjazz vocals. Alas they don't have DJ's to interrupt(not complaining!) the music flow on Crossover 105.1 FM which means I'm regularly at a loss to identify certain tracks.
There is one that I would love to identify sung in an uptempo beat by a female soul singer who sounds very like Marlena Shaw(but isn't) as none of the following lyrics appear on any of her song titles on the itunes website. Anyway the lyrics go as follows:
"We're flying, we're flying into each others arms.... reaching you reaching me.... see your eyes."
The song finishes fairly abruptly without instrumental backing with the vocalist singing ba da da da da da da da.....ba da da da da da da da.
I know - it's not much to go on but any help from you folks would be greatly appreciated.
